The Rutgers Center for Lipid Research (RCLR) promotes intra- and inter-institutional and multidisciplinary research in the biochemical, biophysical, cellular and molecular mechanisms involved in lipid metabolism. Our research utilizes model eukaryotic organisms, cells, and tissues, and state-of-the-art instrumentation. We foster interactions between faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and students that lead to productive collaborations. A goal of the RCLR is to extend knowledge to address lipid-based diseases, thereby promoting optimum health.
