Climate and Environmental Change Initiative
The Rutgers Climate and Environmental Change Initiative addresses one of the most pressing issues of our time. This multidisciplinary research, education, and outreach effort draws from the strengths in many departments at Rutgers and facilitates collaboration across a broad range of disciplines.
Discovery Initiative
The Discovery Initiative strives to more fully engage all who have ties to the school, the experiment station, and the university. It creates opportunities for networking, for advancement, for mentoring, for advocacy, and for a general sense of belonging.
Food, Nutrition and Health
The New Jersey Institute for Food, Nutrition and Health will build on Rutgers' extensive and pioneering work in the fields of agriculture, food science, nutrition science, and human health. The institute will focus on society's pressing challenges in cardio-inflammatory disease, cancer, and obesity.
International Programs
The School of Environmental and Biological Sciences strives to provide its students with an international curriculum and opportunities for educational experiences abroad. We have made it a priority to ensure that our students have the background and experience to work in a world made smaller by the internet, and for organizations and companies that have become increasingly multinational
Rutgers Against Hunger
Rutgers is working to make a difference in the lives of those suffering from hunger. From food drives to 4-H programs, from grocery-shopping advice to agricultural research, Rutgers Against Hunger (RAH) aims to increase awareness of hunger and encourage community service to help those in need.
