Register for International Health Coverage

For general healthcare coverage while overseas, Rutgers faculty, staff or students can enroll in the Health Select Overseas Insurance provided by HTH Worldwide Services. (If you are traveling with a Rutgers Study Abroad program you are automatically covered.)

• Covers any injury or illness up to $100,000
• There is a $0 deductible for each injury or illness claimed
• Pre-existing conditions or non-essential services (e.g., dental cleaning, acne treatments, check-ups etc.) are not covered

Rutgers has made this policy available for purchase from HTH Worldwide Services, Inc. for $32 per month per student which will cover you while you are traveling.

To enroll, you must complete the HTH Roster Template Form (Excel file) and email it to Steve Martini along with a check made payable to Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey for $32 x number of months you will be overseas. Checks should be sent to Diana K. Kennedy in Room 329B, ASB III, 3 Rutgers Plaza, G. H. Cook Campus. The enrollment roster and payment must be received by the Department of Risk Management at least 2 weeks prior to the trip departure.

Upon enrollment students will receive a confirmation email from HTH along with details to print out an ID card and access HTH Worldwide's online resources.
