Financial Assistance

Eligible students receive a financial aid package that will combine grants, loans and possibly Federal Work Study in an annual award. The package is based on the information students submit on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Grants such as

  • EOF grants, provided by the State of New Jersey; and/or
  • TAG grants, provided by the State of New Jersey; and/or
  • Rutgers University grants; and/or
  • Pell grants, provided by the federal government.; and
  • Private scholarships, provided by private organizations.

Loans such as:

  • Perkins loans, subsidized by the Federal Government.
  • Stafford loans, Federal loans, both subsidized and unsubsidized.
  • Other Student loan programs provided by private institutions and the Federal Government.
  • PLUS loans, unsubsidized loans taken by your parents,
  • Student employment.

Please be aware that financial assistance will vary from year to year, depending upon your need and the availability of funds.

Although the EOF program can provide financial help, you and your family will be asked to contribute to the cost of your college education.  You and your family should expect to meet costs for books, materials, and incidentals; these can total as much as $500 or more per semester.
