There are many sources of scholarship funds which are external to Rutgers University. Exploring these sources is highly recommended. Directories of these scholarships may be obtained in many bookstores and in most local libraries. Since most applications have a deadline, it is recommended that students begin this process as early as possible.
Rutgers is pleased to offer a computerized database search for external scholarships. The database can be accessed through the Rutgers Financial Aid website.
If you would like to use this service but do not have access to a computer with a modem, it is available at all Rutgers libraries and many local libraries via the Rutgers INFO system.
