Scholarships for incoming first-year students are awarded by the University, through Rutgers Undergraduate Admissions, Financial Aid, and the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences (SEBS).
All students admitted to the University are automatically considered for scholarships offered through Rutgers Undergraduate Admissions. University scholarships of varying amounts are available to bright and talented students who choose Rutgers for their college education. Scholarships are competitive and consideration will be given to students who submit a complete application for admission by December 1. No additional application forms are required but it is strongly recommended that all scholarship candidates complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for maximum consideration.
