Incoming First-Year Student Academic Checklist

1. Take Placement Tests

2. Submit your Covid-19 Vaccinations and Other Health Records

3. Join and Complete the Class of 2027 SEBS Academic Planning & Advising (APA) Canvas Course

4. Attend a Virtual Advising Session (Register within the Canvas Course)

   School of Environmental and Biological Sciences first-year students attend a Virtual Advising Session to learn from advisors about the SEBS Core Curriculum, graduation requirements, and the course request process.

   To prepare for your Virtual Advising Session:

   1. Review all enrolling student information in your myRutgers dashboard.
   2. Review available Byrne Seminars and First-Year Interest Group Seminars.

5. Attend New Student Orientation or International Student Orientation

6. Request AP/IB/College Credit Transcripts

   1. Advanced Placement (AP) Tests
   2. Cambridge A-Level Examinations
   3. International Baccalaureate (IB) Examinations
   4. First-Year Transfer Credit
