Space Planning & Facilities Management
The Office of Finance and Administration oversees facilities for the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences (SEBS) and the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station (NJAES).
The Space Planning & Facilities Management office plays a key role in this oversight, managing space planning, supporting departmental renovations, capital projects, and ongoing maintenance, and collaborating closely with University Institutional Planning and Operations (IP&O) and other central offices responsible for space management. The office manages space and equipment allocation among SEBS and NJAES departments, including off-site research farms, and oversees associated capital projects.

Elizabeth Lyimo
Elizabeth oversees capital projects and infrastructure for SEBS and NJAES, including renovations, space planning, equipment, and property leases. She ensures facilities align with institutional goals, supporting education and research. Elizabeth manages all project phases, ensuring feasibility, budget compliance, and timely completion, while acting as a liaison between the Dean’s Office, academic departments, and Institutional Planning & Operations to address infrastructure needs and ensure user satisfaction.
Lora McGuinness
Lora is responsible for overseeing research equipment maintenance and installation, as well as coordinating general facilities maintenance at the Marine and Coastal Sciences building. She maintains equipment inventory records and space inventory for all assigned buildings and ensures records are up to date.
Moataz Mohamed
Moataz is responsible for overseeing research equipment maintenance and installation, pilot plant operations, and coordinating general facilities maintenance at the Food Science & Nutritional Sciences Complex and the IFNH building. He maintains equipment inventory records and space inventory for all assigned buildings and ensures records are up to date.
David Morgan
David is responsible for overseeing research equipment maintenance and installation, as well as coordinating general facilities maintenance at Foran Hall. He maintains equipment inventory records and space inventory for all assigned buildings and ensures records are up to date.
Paul Perez
Paul is responsible for overseeing research equipment maintenance and installation, pilot plant operations, and coordinating general facilities maintenance at the Food Science & Nutritional Sciences Complex and the IFNH building. He maintains equipment inventory records and space inventory for all assigned buildings and ensures records are up to date.
Joseph Ziolkowski
Joe provides a wide range of general maintenance services, including the repair and upkeep of buildings, equipment, and grounds at the 4-H camp.
