The Office of Finance and Administration coordinates the administrative affairs for the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences and the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station.
Finance & Administration Personnel
Mazen Shehat
Mazen Shehat oversees all administrative and financial functions supporting the school and experiment station. He leads budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation to ensure long-term sustainability and support institutional priorities. With expertise in fiscal management, strategic planning, and operations, he drives efficiencies, aligns financial strategies with institutional goals, and fosters transparency, accountability, and collaboration to advance academic and research excellence.
Kathleen Howell
Kathleen Howell provides overall leadership for faculty and staff human resources matters within the school and experiment station. She oversees faculty and academic personnel processes (i.e., hiring, reappointment, promotion, and tenure process for faculty); leads HR operations and policy implementation; manages employee and labor relations matters; and serves as a key contributor to goal setting, strategic planning, and process/problem resolution for the school and experiment station.
Regina Williams
Regina Williams serves as the financial liaison for SEBS and NJAES. She is responsible for the oversight and management of all budgets across all department centers, institutes, and off-campus stations within the school and experiment station. She is also responsible for financial analysis and reporting on all funds available to the school and experiment station.
Noor Meky
Noor Meky serves as an administrative liaison and resource for SEBS and NJAES. She provides administrative support to the Senior Associate Dean of Finance & Administration and coordinates work with other internal and external departments.
Elizabeth Lyimo
Elizabeth Lyimo oversees capital projects and infrastructure for SEBS and NJAES, including renovations, space planning, equipment, and property leases. She ensures facilities align with institutional goals, supporting education and research. Elizabeth manages all project phases, ensuring feasibility, budget compliance, and timely completion, while acting as a liaison between the Dean’s Office, academic departments, and Institutional Planning & Operations to address infrastructure needs and ensure user satisfaction.
