Experiential Learning

A student and a boss.

Students who participate in the Student to Professional Internship Network (SPIN) at the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences gain experience related to their course of study or career interests while earning academic credits to fulfill the school's experience-based education requirement. SPIN is an academic program so the credits are earned through the completion of academic assignments while the student is involved in part-time or full-time work experience within business, industry, government, or non-profit agencies.
