Learning Farms, Gardens & Preserves

The School of Environmental and Biological Sciences includes a diverse array of farms, forests, and preserves where faculty and students can teach, conduct research, and engage in public outreach.

As part of our commitment to experiential learning, we embrace the George H. Cook campus as a living laboratory.  Through courses, independent projects, student clubs, and both university and community collaborations, we are designing and implementing landscapes that support ecology, green infrastructure, and food production.
